MTWI Financial Services needed a centralized dashboard for managing client portfolios, tracking asset performance, and maintaining compliance records. I built a system that consolidated multiple data sources into one clear view.
The Challenge
The challenge was to process and display a large volume of financial data, including stock positions, fixed income holdings, and transaction histories, in real time without overwhelming the client's browser. I designed the interface with virtualized rendering for large datasets and optimized data-fetching intervals to minimize load on external API feeds.
What I Built
I built a live data process to pull portfolio data from multiple sources, including Nigerian and US financial markets. This involved setting up connections for live pricing, designing a portfolio health monitoring system, and building automated alerts for compliance triggers and rebalancing opportunities.
